About us
Since 2018, L’Olivo has stood in the heart of Ratingen for high-quality Italian cuisine that brings together tradition and creativity. A fine Italian restaurant for special evenings, business lunches, family celebrations and everyone who appreciates authentic enjoyment.
Our cooking is built on the classics of Italy, interpreted with a modern, creative touch. High-quality, wherever possible regional ingredients, freshness and genuine craft are at the centre of it. A particular focus lies on our freshly handmade pasta, produced in our own pasta lab at the cooking school.
Out of a passion for good food and hospitality, L’Olivo kept growing. Alongside the restaurant came numerous caterings and bespoke events. In 2020 the next step followed with the opening of our cooking school in the same building, a place where we share our knowledge, our experience and the joy of Italian cooking with our guests.
Today L’Olivo unites restaurant, cooking school, catering and events under one idea: Italian cuisine at a high level, personal, crafted and with a signature of its own.
